A custom WordPress plugin built to save and manage Contact Form 7 submissions directly from the dashboard. It allows users to view, search, filter, and export submissions as CSV files, while offering role-based access controls and built-in privacy and GDPR tools.
Challenge
Contact Form 7 relies mainly on email delivery, which means submissions can be lost when mail delivery fails or the email settings are misconfigured. It can also be difficult for teams to review large numbers of submissions or give staff limited access without granting full administrator permissions.
The Solution We Delivered
We developed a custom plugin that stores a copy of every Contact Form 7 submission in the WordPress database and presents it in an organized dashboard table. The plugin also provides search and filtering, detailed submission views, CSV export, individual and bulk deletion, independent staff permissions, and tools for managing user data and GDPR requirements.
Results or impact
Website owners can now review every Contact Form 7 submission from a single dashboard instead of relying solely on email notifications. This reduces the risk of lost messages, speeds up access to submission data, improves team collaboration, and provides better control over user permissions.
The plugin is available on WordPress.org and can be installed directly from the WordPress dashboard, making it easy to save, organize, and manage Contact Form 7 submissions.
